Top Beraten Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., from its venture in 2018, has always believed in giving back to the society as the ultimate measure of success! From Top Beraten’s humble beginning, making a positive impact while diligently working towards attaining our corporate goals has been ingrained to the core values and beliefs our company. Our founder and Managing Director, Miriam Shastri, whose vision and values form the very soul of this company, is a firm believer of “When we lift others, we rise together. Giving back isn’t charity—it’s responsibility.”
At Top Beraten Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., we have never viewed success solely through the lens of profit or prestige. Instead, we believe that with greater success comes a deeper responsibility to create meaningful impact in the lives of others.
“Education is a fundamental right, not a privilege.” A notion we carry embedded in our hearts at Top Beraten Sdn. Bhd is that no child should be denied the right to education regardless of their gender, race, religion or nationality. We believe in bridging gaps and empowering children from all kinds of backgrounds through our humble yet transformative moves activities.
- “The Power of You”: Championing Education for All
Top Beraten’s Champion’s had the privilege to visit Elom Initiatives, one of our remarkable beneficiaries which operates as a learning centre that provides education and a safe space for refugee students. It’s a place filled with hope, ambition, and so much heart. As part of our visit, we were proud to contribute RM5,000 to support their incredible work — but most importantly, we got to spend real, meaningful time with the students and hear their stories.
The integral part of this visit was our Managing Director’s, Miriam Shastri and the students of Elom Initiatives, where she encouraged the students to always believe in themselves and their capabilities despite all the hurdles and challenges they have faced in life.
In true Malaysian spirit, we ended the visit with a hearty Burmese meal, shared over warm conversations and laughter. A heartfelt thank you to Elom Initiatives and Sujauddin Karimuddin — your stories and strength left a lasting impression on us.
- Reimagine Education’s (R.ED) Innovative Sports Day
As the saying by Albert Einstein, „Spiel ist die höchste Form der Forschung“(translated as “Play is the highest form of research”), learning is not confined to classrooms only-it’s often about real life experiences. In an era where emotional intelligence has become increasingly important, sports encourage us to handle failure, bouncing back from setbacks and growing from the experience. Sports is also a powerful catalyst to foster DEI by creating an inclusive space for everyone and to just break the barriers!
Top Beraten has always encouraged activities outside of classroom and we were extremely thrilled to sponsor the Sports Day as well as get our hands and feet muddy – playing alongside the kids and the volunteers in R.ED’s Sports Day.
